About Southern Hill Hospital
Southern Hill Hospital is an independent mental health hospital situated near the North Norfolk coast. We provide services for adults requiring assessment and treatment in an inpatient setting. The facility is operated by Southern Hill Limited.
Registered by the Care Quality Commission in May 2018, Southern Hill Hospital is authorised to perform the following regulated activities:
Assessment and treatment for persons detained under the Mental Health Act 1993
Treatment of disease, disorder, or injury
Transport services, triage, and remote medical advice

Set within spacious grounds in rural Norfolk, the hospital has separate buildings and units. This enables us to provide therapeutic environments tailored to the needs of the people we support.
Lincoln Ward: A 13-bed addiction treatment ward.
Adler Ward: An 8 bed complex mental health and eating difficulties ward.
Admissions
To receive care at Southern Hill Hospital, patients must be 18 years or older. We accept referrals from various sources and are ready to support each patient’s journey to recovery.
