Accommodation at Southern Hill

Southern Hill Hospital offers single sex accommodation. Each individual bedroom has ensuite facilities providing a toilet and washing / shower facilities, allowing patients to maintain their comfort and dignity throughout their stay.

There are dedicated recreational and communal living spaces within each of the ward areas, along with quiet spaces, coffee lounges, consulting and medical assessment rooms, and access to private garden areas.

Southern Hill has a range of therapy spaces for one-to-one and group therapy sessions, relaxation and yoga. There is an art cottage which sits within the grounds of the hospital, which has facilities for art, pottery and other creative activities.

Our catering department is led by a skilled chef with expertise in making well-balanced and nutritious meals catering to diverse tastes and cultural preferences. Any dietary requirements outside the standard menu are carefully considered and addressed through personalised discussions.

The hospital is housed in a Grade II listed building and combines historical charm with modern amenities, all creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere. We are situated on 18 acres of well-maintained woodland gardens, providing a serene and peaceful outdoor environment. It is a short walk to the local village which has many local amenities including shops, cafés and the beautiful North Norfolk Coastline.
